RFI Workflow Redesign

There can be hundreds of RFIs (Requests for Information) open on a construction project. Responses to these requests happened off-platform in disjointed email threads, copied into our platform manually, after the fact (if project teams had time!). I redesigned the workflow so the workaround became a feature and the official RFI record on a project finally matched the reality of working on-site.

AI-Powered Submittal Automation

Before construction begins, every project requires a list of submittals and a structured record of every scope of work that needs to be reviewed, approved, and tracked. Building that list meant manually reading the entire specification package and writing out every scope by hand. Per project, that was hundreds of hours of work. I led the design of an AI-powered parser built on Palantir that automated that process, reducing the time required by 80%, and moved the entire submittal workflow earlier in the project lifecycle.

Born and raised in downtown Toronto, now based in Hamilton.

I am a product and UX/CX designer with 7+ years of experience designing research-led, accessible digital products for complex systems and the people who use them. I have worked across B2B and DTC consumer brands, large enterprise organisations, and tech startups, which means I am equally comfortable in a boardroom stakeholder session and on an active job site at 7am.

I'm passionate about the moments where design actually matters: where clarity reduces stress, where accessibility opens a door, and where the right information at the right time makes a complicated journey feel simple. Public facing digital products are where I want to focus my craft.

Outside of work you can find me at my studio creating textile art, or at the thrift in search of inspiration for short stories about haunted objects. 👻
